A disgraced soldier, sexual frustration, and an arrogance to rival Pride herself! Intrigued?
In part 2 of my lesfic erotica novel, Pride and the Stranger, you learn more about the wonderful Avarice, more commonly known as Greed. Bella, Harry, and Althea become obsessed with a sexy newcomer who arrives at the Cardinal’s casino; Corporal Ramsay Black. Read on for her delicious introduction to the Seven Deadly Sins.
A wolf-whistle caught my attention, and I glanced up from the letter in my hand. I was reading a notice from the Gambling Commission of Great Britain, advising of impending changes to gambling regulations. I was standing at the bar in my casino with Harry and Althea, discussing the actions I’d need to take to comply with the new laws, when the high-pierced whistle brought my awareness to the woman who had just arrived.
It only took a moment before I realised Harry had been the source of the wolf-whistle. I rolled my eyes.
But when my gaze settled on a sexy soft butch wearing a tight sandy-coloured T-shirt, tight grey jeans, and hoisting a heavy kit bag over one muscled, broad shoulder, I realised why she had caught Harry’s attention.
Harry grinned, watching her come closer. She leaned forward to whisper in Althea’s ear, “I bet she’s a soldier.”
Althea spun to inspect the approaching knockout. The woman had gorgeous blue eyes and long brown hair, tied up in a high ponytail, but with a shaved undercut underneath. My stomach clenched, a warmth spreading to my centre. She was incredibly hot, soldier or not.
“What makes you say that, toots?” Althea asked, surveying the woman’s frame.
Harry smirked, leaning on one elbow as she studied the woman reaching the bar, throwing her kit bag to the floor, and dragging herself onto a bar stool.
“Look at her posture. She has an air of self-assuredness and poise. She’s confident, establishing eye contact with everyone, head held high, strong, swift strides … I’m telling you, she’s from the Forces.” Harry looked pleased with herself, and I couldn’t blame her. Everything she’d claimed was true.
It was natural that it would be Pride’s gift to identify such confidence in a human. Arrogance, ego, and narcissistic tendencies were her forte.
